Is British food really that bad? haha

I can't really say since I'm British and used to it. I know each part of the U.K. has their own type of cuisine, so I'm more talking about English cuisine since that's what I know. But I didn't realise that British food had a reputation for being terrible until I seen jokes in movies referring to it haha 

I will admit. Most British food seems to be bland and beige and not to mention pretty unhealthy. At times I still do miss it. I especially miss crumpets, roast dinners and sausage rolls. Oh and scones...

Me: I'm from England.

Them: Oh! I've been to England. I went to London.

Me: Really? What do you think of the food?
